SCOPE OF SERVICE:
The intent of these specifications is to describe a reusable, rapidly deployable and cost effective runway, traffic and security barricade. The AR24x96 HDPE is lighter, more easily deployed, and safer than railroad ties and concrete road barriers. Weighing only 37 lbs. the barricade can be placed manually and once positioned can be filled with close to 750 lbs. of water for a full weight of 785 lbs. Compatible with lights, stanchions, signage, and snow fencing.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Stanchions can be utilized with snow fencing or to create Type III barricades.
6" x 72" reflective striping.
Compatible with other Multi-Barrier® models to create walls of varying height.
Optional tamper-resistant screws hold advertising or warning signs in vandal-prone areas.
Flashing solar or battery-powered lights.

Barricade is made of resiliently deformable and non-conductive material.
System is modular to assemble, disassemble, and nest for compact storage.
The barricade shape is low enough to avoid interference with air traffic.
Barricade allows for 6" x 72" corrugated plastic reflective, directional, or warning sides on both sides.
System maintains a continous enclosure.
Barricade is designed to prevent access to hazardous work areas and/or runways by forming a continuous wall.
Barricade is brightly colored for high visibilty.
Barricade offers a vandal-proof locking mechanism.
Water-filled barricade can also be repositioned using a forklift.
JET BLAST TEST:
The AR24x96 HDPE has been tested to withstand taxi-speed jet blast. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey proved this with their test at Newark International Airport, February 1999.
