Xpandit, plastic expandable barricades undergone the following four (4) tests, during February 2006-March 2006, performed by Israel Military Industries Ltd. (I.M.I.) , Munitions and Weapons Test Center, Ammunition Group Environmental Testing Laboratories.
Low Temperature Test Specifications:
Barricade had not undergone previous testing. Standard- MIL STD 810C, Method 502.1, under-20* C/ (-) 4* F, during 24 hour duration. No visual damage was observed during the test at its duration. Test Facility-Thermotron Temperature chamber.
High Temperature Test Specifications::
Barricade had not undergone previous testing. Standard-MIL STD 810C, Method 501.1, under +55* C/ (+) 131* F, during 24 hour duration. No visual damage was observed during the test at its duration. Test Facility-Tenney Engineering Temperature chamber.
Drop Test::
Barricade had undergone Low Temperature Testing. Drop height 76cm /30*, drop orientation on base. No visual damage was observed during the test at its duration. Test Facility-L.A.B. Drop Tester.
Vibration Test::
Barricade had not undergone previous testing. Barricade also tested in its original packaging. Standard-MIL STD 810C, Method 514.3 random type at 3 vibrations axes- orthogonal, longitudinal, and lateral and vertical, duration of 60 minutes per axes. No visual damage was observed during the test at its duration. Test Facility-Ling Electronics Vibration System 20,000 lbs capacity. Unholtz & Dickey Vibration system, 12,000 lbs capacity. UDVwin Vibration Control system, calibrated until June 2006.
