PROPERITIES
FlexStake HD is an all weather, ground mounted highway delineator that can take up to 100 vehicular impacts at 55mph. It is unbeatable in areas where ordinary markers suffer a high failure rate. Some HDs are still in service after eight years of hard road use. For off-road use, the FlexStake UM Utility Marker is a more cost-effective choice.
DURABILITY
In one test to failure, a standard FlexStake HD highway delineator was hit 5 times at 55mph and then run over to failure at 30 mph. After 308 hits, cracks appeared in the post, but it was still serviceable. Post failure did not occur until it had been run over 341 times! An incredible record that has yet to be approached by anyone. FlexStake is verifiably the only manufacturer of truly high impact' mow-over markers in the world, and they have the certified tests to prove it.
SIZES
Standard heights (above ground) are 18", 2', 2.5', 3', and 4'. Standard post colors are white, red-orange, yellow, green, blue, brown, and gray. Other lengths and colors are available on special order.
SHEETING
May be fitted with federally approved reflective materials in white, red, orange, yellow, green and blue. Barricade and other patterns are available on special order. When signage is required, HD can be fitted with any o our signs or labels.
CONSTRUCTION
The post is a color impregnated UV stabilized polycarbonate extrusion - impact resistant to 8Qmph. The hinge is hi-density all-weather polymer, mechanically fastened to a patented barbed anchor that really stays in the ground. The anchor is a hi-density polymer that is unaffected by adverse soil conditions. Approximately 51% (by weight) of HD is of post-consumer recycled plastic.
